چکیده
This experiment was designed to investigate the effects of different levels copper–methionine chelates and alfalfa powder on egg yolk cholesterol content, quality, performance in laying hens. In this experiment, a total 100 hens (Nick Chick strain, from 109 117 weeks age) were arranged into five experimental treatments, consisting 2 dietary copper chelate (2x2) factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The treat-ments groups included: T1 Control (Corn soybean meal), treatments T2 (3% powder+50 mg/kg copper-methionine chelate), T3 powder+100 T4 (6% chelate) T5 cop-per-methionine chelate). results study have shown that, diet except feed conversion ratio shell-less eggs, oth-er parameters not substantially affected by level 3% through-out period (P>0.05). Moreover, color had no significant effect internal external quality traits during whole As well as, index signifi-cantly increased increasing hens’ (P<0.001). high-est observed treatment 5 which (containing 6% powder+ mg / kg per diet). Meanwhile, group that received al-falfa powder+100mg/kg copper- methionine concentration signif-icantly decreased compared control Therefore, addition reduced color.
